2011 "Images of Edina" Photo Contest Results

Rebecca Schmoll's photo, "Happy Customers,” won Best in Show in addition to the "Doing Business” category in the 8th Annual Images of Edina Photo Contest.

Judges chose winning photographs in five categories representing the City’s vision statement: Living, Learning, Raising Families and Doing Business. New this year, Edina Magazine readers were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo by giving a “Readers' Choice” award. Winners were presented plaques and gift certificates at the Aug. 16, 2011 City Council meeting.

This year’s judges included Bret Ryan, Art Director for Edina Magazine; Bill Harz of 4:9 Photography; Polly Norman of Polly Norman Art; and Marty Doll, Communications Coordinator for City of Burnsville.

The photos are framed and hanging in the Finance Department at City Hall, along with the winners of the 2010 contest. Watch for winning photos to be published in future issues of Edina Magazine and City of Edina publications, such as About Town.
