Mother-Daughter Book Club 

The Artwork: The watercolor was dedicated April 22, 2006 and installed on Jan. 9 in memory of Christie Blackwood on what would have nee her 16th birthday. The piece is hung in the Edina Public Library.

The Artist: Doug Lew is an Edina resident and regular Edina library user who teaches watercolor at the University of Minnesota.

Funding: Family and friends donated about 60 percent of the total cost. The Friends of the Library donated the remaining cost from their Dream Fund. Nash Framing donated the frame.
